XPERT REVIEW: TERRIBLE
this is mediocre alright. everything sux ass (improve EVERYTHING) the only good thing i can say about this is that its a new idea.
After completing my previous entry, 3D join the dots, I decided to modify it to make it a simple 3D modeller. I also added backgrounds and music like the reviewers requested. It's not exactly a useful modeller, but it's still cool. Thanks to Jack for writting and playing the music. (Don't forget about the arrows used to rotate your model in 3D mode).
Instructions:
Tools
Add Point:
Points become the vertices of your model. To add a new point, click the 'Add Point' button then click anywhere in the work space to place a point.
Select Point:
Once points have been placed on the workspace, you can select them by first pushing the 'Select Point' button, then clicking on a point on the workspace. Highlighted points are blue.
Move Point:
To move a point, click and hold a point on the workspace and drag it to the desired area.
Add line:
Once 2 or more points have been placed onto the workspace, you can use them to create a line. To create a line, push the 'Add Line' button. You can then add a line by clicking once on a point already on the workspace. You can then connect the line to a seperate dot.
Select line:
To select a line, push the 'select line' button. Then click on a line on the workspace. Highlighted lines are blue.
Delete:
To delete a point or line, select it then press the delete button.
Views
Top, front, side:
These 3 views allow you to add and manipulate lines and points from different sides. To change view, click on any of the view buttons
3-D:
This view allows you to view your model in 3D, but you cannot manipulate it. You can rotate your model while in this view using the arrows next to the 3-D view button.
Line Colours
You can change the colour of a line by highlighting it, then changing it's red, green and blue values. You can change these values by clicking the arrows next to the numbers. You can also change the border width in a similar way.
Background Colours
By clicking one of the 5 colours at the top right of the form, you can change the background colour of the workspace.
Sound
You can stop and start the music by pushing the 'sound' button at the bottom of the screen.

what a fun gme!
awesome
dude, thats an awesome 3d creator. seriously, whats up with the score though. its very cool
Calculated score: 9.25
I'm thoroughly impressed.
All of your flash seems like it would take a long bit of programming and debugging, and this one just seems to top the cake because... I've never seen someone make a 3-d modelling tool using flash.
Good job.
very good but it becomes boring after a while.
as i said it gets a bit boring. maybe being able to animate things would help. that would probobly be immensly hard but.... meh. what you could do to animate it is when you select a line it has a button saying animate. then you could choose if it moves, spins etc. then to make it all work at once there could be a button which switches between build and... i dunno, play mode or somehting.
keep up the good work!
