Macabre delights
Your stuff is really great, it has a real authentic "brothers Grimm" feel to it, like classic folk tales.
Excellent stuff !
HIGHLY disturbing content. Please DO NOT be disappointed.
An animation made specially for 10-sec. Film Festival. Its length is 10 seconds respectively. Telling a story within such short timeline was a pretty tough task for me. I hope I succeeded in creating a mood anyway...
Ein... Zwei... Drei... May the tears dry!

so nice
it's a bizarre way to show an utopia, who wouldn't like a world like that, when if you're sad, someone makes you happy, you can't be mad if you're happy, even if you don't want to. i hope that you've won the festival
Errr..
I don't think the last guy understood this at all. You don't just make bible references to everything when trying to sound artistic.
I think the message was quite a bit simpler: people raise their kids to repress and hide their insecurities and pain rather than confront them. We live in a world full of scared children masking their faces.
Or whatever lololol.
I get it!
This was a pretty artistic piece but I get it! The smiley fairy is a metaphor for Satan, hence the hair spiked on either side and you can't see her eyes. Satan plucked the sad little girl's head like Adam plucked the forbidden fruit that caused all sorrow. So Satan symbolically took the forbidden fruit (the child's head) back from humanity and replaced it with the innocence of the Garden of Eden (the smiling head). This film is about Satan repenting his act of temptation that led to the original sin, atoning for it by taking the apple back. I see this as a joyous film in anticipation of the Rapture, in which Satan is not defeated by violence but voluntarily chooses to return to the angelic host.
*cough*
Actually I was just seeing how I could interpret it. Frankly a short film about a little girl getting her head torn off puts smiles on my face! You don't need the Bible to have fun.
The greatest review I've ever read! ha ha ha!
