A forum contest pushed me to make this.
There is no preloader, but it should load relatively fast, there's like 2 sounds in it.
This is my project, called, The Arena.
It's a very simplistic Flash RPG. There is no overworld, mainly because it wouldn't make sense with the storyline.
You use the mouse to do everything, it's NOT active time, so you can think things through before you act.
This is what I like to call the beta. The story actually isn't there yet, and It has really bad graphics. But it does feature random enemy draws, leveling up, and skills! Although this version has many bugs, they wont be in the final, for instance it always takes 200 experience to level up, and after about 2 levels, enemies give you way more than 200 experience. So you'll be having a godfest at like level 5. There are weaknesses too.
Just give it a try, you may enjoy it.
Things to know: I am completely re-making this, I'm almost done with the remake, which has an ending, and a storyline, also there is equipable armor and weapons! neato. Oh yeah, it'll have a preloader too.
Anyway, this proves I have come along way from my little PDA emulator I made two years ago. Enjoy. :)
A different kind of game here I like the use of color and different options, could have used some background music though, it was entertaining though, the skills menu I couldn't get out of it, maybe its a glitch of some sort, anyways nice game, it was fun and I found it to be a fun experience

This is a beta, so you can't expect too much from it. You should make a plot, so players want to advance the story and see the ending. You should make the combat more skill and less random based. The finished version could be Top notch.
Thought this was pretty solid indeed good use of colors and options needed an improved soundtrack tho
good, now put it to use...
some kinda storyline(little boy and some gangsters may be...boss?...) and some music, and work more on the movement. more flash use and this game can get some pretty good ratings

It could still use some work, but it was entertaining for a few minutes. More sound would be nice. I look forward to an update.
