I read the original short story by Ray Bradbury a few years ago and it creeps me out to this day. So I decided to make a film out of it. Please don't expect comedy -- expect creepy.

Incredible

I'm writing an essay on this right now... Thanks for the vid, lol.

You just showed me my worst nightmare.

I geuss "well done"? Nice voices, ok graphics, and overall well done. I just hope I'm not just persecuted just because of misunderstandings, truly you just showed me my worst nightmare.

((( WOW )))

Wow this was great stuff, its the type of flash that really draws you in and wanting more, the grapics and art style was neat and very welldone, the ideas and themes of this flash were original and stylish, something that not everyone does, for a 3.5 meg flash it was well worth the download, i was very pleased to see this, so nice work indeed, hope to see more soon...

~X~

wow... even the preloader screen is awesome

Great artwork! I love the branches of the tree and everything... Anyway, on to the credits and the flash itself. Ray Bradbury is a great author, and I've enjoyed a flash retelling of one of his short stories here on NG in the past, so it's nice to see another one.

The fading-out-and-reappearing-man style of letting time progress in a weird indistinct manner was kinda nifty. The subtle musical strains in the background and sound effects worked really nicely as well, especially the voiceover... and the cavalry horn was so surreal in these environs. And then, finally, conflict.

Anyway, this is one short story of Bradbury's I haven't read, but I certainly want to now. It is quite similar, in some ways, to other works of his, but... quite different in others. Good job on making what I presume is a good version of his story, and great job on making me (and others, I'm sure) want to read the original as well.

Wow, thanks for the great review. I tried to stay pretty close to the original story. I'm thinking of doing another classic of Bradbury's "The Veldt" in the future. Hopefully I'll be able to do it justice. ;-)

Yep, I liked it.

Music was perfect. The car looked funny. The guys face was nice. The robot voice was awesome. Good times.
