Happy Clock Day 2004! (70)
The 70th, and final, CD2004 flash, by my way of deciding such things. I started with a flash submitted at the end of 8/13 and end with yours, submitted at the start of 8/16, but I think it's a fair range to map out. Some of the flashes I included perhaps shouldn't have been.
And yours, though it starts with a pic of a crowned SBC with a "NO" sign through him, however... definitely falls under the "Clock Day" flash category. You attempted to provide a sort of summary or conclusion to the day's events... or as you put it, "A quick, comical look on the events that probably go down on Clock day." I think you did a good job with it. I'll check out your original from CD2003 at some point, too.
Anyway, as to Eternal Blamnation 2... I liked the simple sketchy style, first off. It was actually quite refreshing to see a few well-animated human beings after reviewing 69 flashes over the past two days that didn't feature many, if any, for the most part.
"Dude... did you shoot yourself in the head?" Hilarious. Time to be nitpicky, though. Strawberry's Clockday was already protected and in blue (i.e. over 3.50 in score) when you visited it "in the flash" (and presumably, in reality). And in any event, whether it was still under judgement or protected, you didn't "blam" it. You voted 0. The 0 vote may have descriptive text about blamming, but that only refers to UJ voting. You can go to the #1 ranked movie in the top 50 and hit the "blam" description 0 vote, but that doesn't mean you're blamming it. You're just lowering its score.
Not a huge deal, but that really pulled me out of the movie as so many idiots go "I JUST BLAMMED THIS!" to movies from 2000 or 2001 in their reviews, and then I have to pull out the reviewbanstick and it just gets really old. Like Outwar link spam. You wouldn't want to be associated with THAT, would you? ... WOULD YOU?!?!
So of course, you didn't really blam that movie. But you may have voted 0 on it. If so, that was quite silly of you, as that particular one was quite good. Still, a funny as hell flash with one HUGE error in language but not much else to complain about. Good job.
Happy Belated Clock Day 2004! 70 movies... REVIEWED. Finally. :::collapses:::
