I really like how you have managed to put so many carp in one imaginary lake. Are you perhaps a "beaner". If so, welcome to America. Here we have many different types of fish, catfish, bass, musky ect. Try using them.

bah...

could have been FAR, FAR better i think.
although you had a great idea (what with the bait choosing, the fishing rod and choice of float, but it needed some work for sure.
first off, the graphics: they should have had much more detail in them... i mean, all drawings looked pretty basic.
second: the sound: you REALLY should have put some more sound effects into your game. i think i only heard one sound effect, and i think it was from KidPix! (an old game from old Apple computers). also, some music would have been nice.
3rd: time!: in most cases, unless you put your rod in the deep blue water, it took aaagggeeess to catch nething... and when i did catch something, it was always a damn carp! so the game should have been a bit quicker, and a bit more interactive. (yes i know, fishing is a waiting game).
so overall, an ok effort... but results could have been far better.

The game could have been a lot better. I swear there was only like.. one common and a fuckin boot in the lake!
