Intended to convey mood rathar than action, I created this short piece as a kind of homage to one of the seminal works of Industrial music (the 'Red Mecca' album by Cabaret Voltaire), and to continue to improve my familiartiy with Flash. Although it is not an ambitious piece in terms of animation, I like to think it conveys the emotions it was intended to, and hopefully matches the exotic and sombre music of this piece.

Wow!

Just randomly lookin' for "industrial" related stuff on NG and found this. Nice music, Cabaret Voltaire is great stuff, although I'm more of a Throbbing Gristle fan for that era.
Only thing I would have changed is the use of anime, it's so stale these days.
Good flash, sucks no one else noticed it really.

Um. No.

If your goal was to invoke mood, you certainly invoked a mood out of me, better known as "Regret". I regret wasting 3 or 4 minutes of my life watching this. Being an artist, I can appreciate art, but pictures of an anime girl on a train sliding across the screen is hardly what I'd call art.

a little bit "WTF"-y, but i guess it's okay

the whole thing (art AND music) reminded me of kraftwerk... cause those guys are strange. I'm not reallt a fan of 'atmospheric' stuff, but as atmoshric stuff goes i guess it's okay.

Nice artwork

I liked the artwork but a lack of movement and coherancy really diminished from the movie. For starters it really made no sense, but you art is really nice and for that it wont be blammed

Didn't Quite Cut It

I would've liked it if it had made some type of sense. I liked the overall artistry though.
