why would he have blood on him? hes in a fucking f1 car, they're made for saftey, he hit it side on, the car is designed for that kind of an impact. parts wouldn't fly into him, he'd get out of that alive unharmed.

Ayrton Senna?

Great first anim, good use of detail and sound (there should be more F1 stuff on NG!) the crash reminds me of Senna fatal crash in 94 though so it was a little poignant.

very good effort

These drawings look very good, the attention to detial on the car is very high. The animation on the helmet and the steering wheel is also a nice touch. The driving looks quite realistic, for 2D graphics. The hills in the background actually move!

The driving sounds are varied and well-used. It's not just the same lame engine noise played ina constant loop!
Some music would have helped with the feeling though, maybe something dramatic and fast-paced while driving cutting to some weepy piano stuff post-crash.

This is good stuff, just a bit more work on the presentation (the preloader seemed dodgy, an of course there's no music) and you'll be on to a winner.

I was suprised to see how good this was compared to the score! The score on this movie should be a hell of a lot higher. You did a good job and little details, dont let the score get to you, you're good.
