A basic tutorial for using ActionScript in flash. This will cover text based and numerical variables. You will learn how to define a variable and how to retrieve the variable using a Dynamic text field

This helped alot now i understand variables and input from text boxes in flash. You should make another one that explains how to move/rotate objects, and how to get key input.

I may do something like that at a later datebut my current projects are what i'm focusing on right now as I will be taking new media soon in university.

You did cover thign well. I think you should have had mroe info on this though there soem more basic stuff that peopel should know before they try this kind of stuff in flash.

i see your point but i personaly found that when i was learning (i still am btw) variables were my spring board.
