this a demo of a friend of mines. He's not done, but he wants your guys' opinions. He didn't post it under his name cause he doesn't have comp access right now, so this isn't stolen, and it won't be stolen when he submits the full version when he gets back, just doing a favor for a friend.

#EDIT: Forgot to mention, the missles don't work, and it loops endlessly.

Good music used on this looking forward to the final game

my music

cool man thanks for using my music and giving me credit :)
the games ok there are a few bugs and that like when you die the level keeps going.
but overall it looks like the final game will be good.
keep working on it,

Gl6be

nice start

i can see this becoming quite good once the bosses are put in etc

Constructive critisim?
the red enemies are hard to see

the health displayed as a barrier round the ship itself or colour colded or sumthing its just a little hard to keep track of while your playing

the missile description stating you need both an algoritm and a missile type rather than one stating you need the other separtly

These are all just little things tho i loved the music
Also i loved the upgrade choices the boomerang being the most original
The descriptions are also clear and show the kind of information id like to know

Overall Really fun to play

Cant w8 to play the proper game :)

Good Start

Good start u should make the full wit alot more to buy and shoot on and powerups !

GOOD WORK!!!

Needs a lot of work...

But not a bad first start. Ship collision needs to be addressed, as well as some of those seemingly 'transparent' enemies. Weapon powerups would be nice (kinda key to shooters dontcha think?). Oh and kill the money system unless there will be a point to it later. Hope these suggestions help.

arf responds:

what are you talking about? there's like 18 powerups in the game, which you can buy by collecting the money. There's a red bar at the bottom of the screen, when that gets all the way across, it takes you to a store, where you can buy upgrades. And What transparent enemies are you talking about?
