Worm Poop

A worm taking a crap is only a tiny bit funny. You should have done some kind of gag with it or just left it out. The worm could have used to defend himself by scooping it up with his tail and flining it in some fish's eye.

You should have spent a little more effort on the mushroom eating part. It's the most animated part of the movie. The worm could have taken two or three bites, wobbled back and forth a bit to show he was stoned and then gone flop on his face.
