Ugh, UT lost last week to Arkansas... somehow, so this puts a huge damper on things, but I'm going to keep making these cartoons anyway. Since UT is playing Rice this upcoming weekend, enjoy the Longhorn vs Owl battle.

I'm not only voting 0 in the reviews, but on the submission! [P.S. Texas is the biggest hillbilly state EVER. Especially the "Howdy ya'll!!! Howdy ya'll!!" ... and cousin love. Can't forget texas cousin love.] [And don't even try to stereotype oklahoma. Indians are cool, and we aren't hillbillys. Whether or not you read review responses or whether you can even read in general is beside the point. You obviously have no conception of popular stereotypes. Cousin love and hillbilly-ness is strictly an Arkansas thing, followed closely by Oklahoma. If anything, Texas is known for cowboys and oil. Try learning history and culture before you attempt to compose a written composition.

But I do disagree with gfoxcook...you can change the look of Bevo in later flashes if you want. A lot of artists go through periods of "artistic development" where their characters go through some changes. Just look at the progress of "Tomorrow's Nobodies"...

I noticed one of your previous two and thought it was fairly funny. One problem is that Bevo looks pretty awful, but... eh, for consistency's sake, he shouldn't be changed now. But just so you know. In case you didn't. I was looking at three REAL longhorns yesterday while visiting my parents north of Austin, and they... don't quite look like that. The owl, for instance, was much closer to realistic. #;-}>
Anyway, I'm a Rice alum, and my mom and dad are U of Texas alums, so it's always a fun battle. Sorry about the loss you and my dad suffered on Saturday, that was a pretty painful game, though at least a comeback WAS staged... a little.
Oh, and to the previous reviewer... yeah, Rice'll probably lose, but so what? Rice beat up on Texas (and then Stanford, of course!) in baseball back in June in the College World Series. Everything else would be icing on the cake, but not necessary. #;-}>
Texas isn't out of this thing yet... we also deemed it appropriate last year to let you guys take the baseball national title out of charity. We had won it the year before. Great job nonetheless, though.
