Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of January we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 172 people to reach our January goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in February!

Please check out our Supporter Upgrade and consider coming aboard!

This is my first film in quite some time. It took a good many hours to complete and a whole lot of thinking. There is so much more to this little cartoon if you listen to the words carefully. Please enjoy my first serious movie.

UPDATE: I have getting a lot of e-mails about two of the songs used in it. The main song is "So, Ha" by Splashdown. That band is no longer together, but the lead singer continues to make music, and you can check it out at www.UniversalHallPass.com
The end credits song is called "Comtine D'un Autre Ete: L'apres Midi" by Yann Tiersen.

Thanks for all your encouraging e-mails!

I hear people saying that the story is in the lyrics, but they can be hard to make out. NVM after a quick youtube search I found the vid with lyrics :)

Still, after all these years, this is one of my favorite music videos. You did great on your animation, picked a perfect song too.

I saw this when it first came out, and liked te song so much I emailed the animator to see what it was. I am 98% sure it didn't have the music by at the beginning back then. Fell in love with Splashdown that day. Ten years later still love them.

A little late to give a review.

But, i love the song and feel of this whole thing, when i was on ridelen i felt like this , a in and out of anger, and confusion.

I agree it's not great

.....but for a flash from 2003 this is fairly good (all things considered).
