"UPDATE2" Now after falling in pit you don't have to start from beginning.

Not a bad game at all....
but you should implement more autosave points (if there are any at the moment), fix the bugs you mentioned because of your bad programming skills (they can't be so bad....the game is too good for bad programming!) and try to give something like an ingame tutorial!
but overall, i would give it six points, because of everything I said and the hope that you fix the game a little bit more!

This one has a lot of issues, as has already been pointed out to you. I will try to mention only those you may not already know about. I can't attack in mid-jump (would be very useful against bats), but I can jump from a point in air if I didn't get there by jumping. Also, killing enemies doesn't seem to serve any purpose other than occasionally opening the ay, and there is no way to gain extra lives or restore health (as in the highly successful and very similar Super Mario Bros).

Fix the bugs that don't allow you to jump on an enemy from a fall or jump on multiple enemies, and this game won't be hopeless like people have been saying. I like the graphics, music, and general feel of the game.
