I don't get why so many people consider this to be a worthy oldschool tribute for Sonic.

Graphics: 0 - sorry, dude. The sprites are standard S3&K/SCD fare (that is, good), but the animation sucks. The plane has transparent bits that shouldn't be. Everyone moves in straight lines from one point to another and there's little use of the animations.

Style: 0 - The fight scene is totally un-Sonic. DBZ-ish disappearing/appearing, without the fancy zwee effects seen at the anime. Sonic blocking attacks by crouching? Come on... the beginning also sucked, the homing attack is not old-school and was badly made.

Sound: 2 - This is supposed to be a music video, right? The song choice is very good ("Let Me Run Again", remix of Sonic 2's ending theme), but it somehow got badly reproduced so I didn't give you a 10 (or a 5 for the lack of sound effects).

Overall: 0 - I'm an oldschool Sonic fan, and calling this a fitting tribute is an insult to the games I loved.

I'll tell ya...

I liked it. I liked it a lot. The only purist issue I have with it is that female hedgehog, you say you want to keep all the crazy characters out, but she wasn't in any of the glory days.

Not that it takes away from the flash, it's an automatic 5 because Sonic is greatness.
