Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

An alien explorer discovers Earth, but something terrible has happened.
(SQUISHIMILATORS related.)

This movie, Broken Dreams, is the predecessor, or incomplete version of, Fire and Ice. It was animated to correspond with the music "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Greenday. I received numerous anti-Greenday reviews and many others with constructive criticism.
Also, I could not use Broken Dreams as a school movie project because I could not get permission from Warner Brothers Records to use "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" in film festivals.
So I composed my own music, fixed animation, added animation, expanded the plot, thus creating Fire and Ice, which has been a huge success.
So, watch Broken Dreams, then go watch Fire and Ice.

wow what a big steaming pile. this was definatly the worst thing ive seen in awhile. you worked on that for four monthes and didnt even use the whole song...way to half ass it pal

But other than that it was rather decent. The "chronoscope" effect was very well done. The interpretation of the song, however, was kinda stale, which only emphasizes the fact that I hate that song.

the meaning of the flash is deep and stuff, but i was hoping you would play the whole song in the flash, it was good and all though, but the alien being a brown blob was kinda strange, the chronoscope was cool. so yeah...

Well, it was good, thought the little brown guys mouth didn't sync with the song after he looked into the past...Also, why did the music cut out for a few sec and then come back in at a different part of the song? It was smooth animation, a little bit bad on the sound and the ending was a little confusing...but overall it was pretty good.

I liked it, it even made a point, and the addition of spikes was a nice touch since it was unecessary ^_^
