UPDATE 07/23/25 – What’s Next for EAT or DIE?!
Hey there! It’s time for my (somewhat annual) update on the insatiable beast that is EAT or DIE
While I haven’t yet been in a position to fully dedicate my time to this passion project, I have been steadily chipping away behind the scenes, refining game mechanics, expanding the story, fleshing out characters, and tackling other key pieces of the puzzle.
The good news? I’m thrilled to share that I now have two angel investors to refer to, who are both interested in backing the project and possibly beyond. That’s a huge step forward, as it means funding for development of which makes building the right team way more achievable. If you know anything about game development, then you know the costs can get quite expensive...FAST. But thanks to these new opportunities, the road ahead just got a lot smoother.
Right now, I’m deep in a few major projects that, once complete, will bring me even closer to lifting EoD off the ground. At this point, it’s no longer a matter of IF the game will happen, but WHEN. I estimate within the next 1–2 years, we’ll see start to see major progress in production. While my current following might be small, I believe once I begin showcasing more behind-the-scenes content and early gameplay, it’ll peek the interest of those who appreciate something truly unique.
For me, this has never been about money. It’s about building something truly authentic and memorable. A game that stands out and offers players a fresh, immersive experience. I want to inspire others through the process, and show that with enough heart and hustle, anything is possible. Life’s thrown me more than a few curve-balls these past few years, but I’ve stayed persistent. I’ve never let go of the VISION!

The concept of the game is set to be an arcade style platformer with stylistic visuals, immersive story/ lore, and inevitable food puns! (There's TONS of progress thus far, but still MUCH more to do) Looking for skilled Writers, Artists, Developers, or Composers with a good sense of comedy, creative thinking, and motivated personality to help with the EAT or DIE Indie game in development. I encourage you to submit your work for review and be a part of the ever expanding team of top-notch creators! This is a long awaited passion project of mine of which I plan to utilize as much time as necessary to get things done efficiently.
Once again, the project will continue when time allows for it. I’ve been getting FLOODED with messages since this posting over 3 years ago lol... so I ask that anyone ONLY submit if you poses quality skills in your corresponding mediums. Most of all, let's have fun with it! Project is open to creative input an immersive collaboration. You MUST have samples of work to showcase ;)
