Hey gcc.

A few things..

Anyone play / get RE4 yet? I am renting it tomorrow, then I will probably buy it.

I just started playing Ocarina of Time over and I forgot how unbelievably amazing it was. Before I knew it, I was half way through that, Goldeneye, Majoras Mask, and Perfect Dark. I suggest you go back to some of the classics you have in the bottom of your closet. Even though the technology is outdated, the fun isn't.

It's not done, but the progress is quite large. I believe you smell correctly somewhat, however.

Not me, but I highly reccomend it anyway. It is supposed to be better than all of the games that came out in 2004, I think.

I just started playing Ocarina of Time over and I forgot how unbelievably amazing it was.

Maybe you might want to consiter my fan fic?

Before I knew it, I was half way through that, Goldeneye, Majoras Mask, and Perfect Dark.

All classics, definately.

I suggest you go back to some of the classics you have in the bottom of your closet. Even though the technology is outdated, the fun isn't.

Actually, that is routine for me. There is rarely a speck of dust on the old N64, and I intend to keep it that way.

Wait, weren't the bombable walls invisible to begin with?

Oh, I also have a question. What game do you think has the best sound? My vote would go for Rogue Squadron III Rebel Strike. The sound is so clear you could almost feel you are IN the game.

Yeah, the sounds are incredibly close to the actual movie's sounds.
I myself don't really have a favorite game when it comes to sounds, because I usually don't pay a whole lot of attention to it.
I like Skies of Arcadia, Tales of Symphonia and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles(so basically RPGs in general) for great music, though.

Yet each one of us is more mature than you, or any of the other people that have flamed this club because of that point.
I have no objections against a discussion, but at least try and bring up some valid arguments.

Has Tom Fulp even announced a release date for Europe yet? I'd love to play the console version.

Regarding my fan fic, I recently posted it on fanfiction.com. If any of you are interested in reading it, you can check how the story is progressing (it is still a work in progress) by simply clicking here.
Looking forward to some good reviews!

I'll read it later today, the first bit was great.
It's definitely better than my fanfiction that's somewhere within the depths of that site :/

I couldn't agree more.

Anyways, it seems that my virus scanner managed to defeat the virus after all, so there's no need to take my computer over to the store. Hooray!

And I also got a new issue of NGC yesterday, with some nice Gamecube stickers included. I already used the one for the black circle , but the other ones don't look all that interesting.
So, did anyone else ever modify their Gamecube's appearance(if slightly)?

We are more mature then the PS2 Crew. Even after all this time has past. I wish the DCPS was still here. If it was then I would be requierd to turn and ignore. They'er gone though and nothing can chang that. With all of the bad thats happend I'm having troble seeing the good. Someday I'll lose sight of the good. The good is leaving this puthetic rock or atleast the aria around me. What am I saying? You guys dont want to hear this. You want to hear that I'm going to my cousins house after school today and playing MP2E. That will be cool. Do you wish that I don't talk about the DCPS anymore? If you do I can stop. Its jest that I want it remembered but if you don't want to hear it then I don't want to have it be remembered as an anoience. Jest say the word.

I loved that game. I pefer Fire Emblem, though, but there isn't really that much of a difference, except for the look and story.

Also, if anyone likes Donkey Konga, you should play this. Too bad there's only 2 songs.

Meh, I usually used the same buttons for every weapon. And I'd rarely use the Z button for anything other than the sail, as the Z button is so annoying to use at times, in my opinion. I usually have my index finger on the R button, you see, so I'd have to lift it to get to the Z button.

Maybe I should start putting my index finger on the Z button and my middle finger on the R button....

I usually centered the camera with the L button, so I had no problems myself. Also, you can use the X, Y and Z buttons on the GC version of OoT aswell, I believe.

Welcome back! I tried looking for the game at my local Future Shop, but it was sold out!! >:(
Well, I knew that was to be expected. This is why I am going to camp outside the store the day before the new Zelda comes out.
No...seriously. I am.
If the trailer made people burst into tears, there is no telling how fast the game will sell.

If I could describe the impact this game will have on the video game industry...
Unbelieveable. An atomic bomb.
I swear, if I do not have that game the DAY it comes out, I will have a psycological breakdown.

Anyhoo...
Metroid Prime 2 = BEATEN! w00t!!

The last boss was a bit of a doozy, but I beat it on my second try (I'm not letting loose any spoilers, even though there aren't that many suprises).

Final percentage - 98%...argh! Well...all I need are two more missle expantions and I got the big three-digit number of perfection.

That boss is among the easiest to defeat if you manage to make it perform the same pattern, otherwise it is a pain:

1) get close to the wall...
2) Fire a missile so the boss gets mad.
3) When it charges at you, charge up a Super missile and shoot to the mouth.
4) Avoid its attack by side stepping twice
5) If done correctly, the boss should hit the wall and be stunned for a little time. That should give you enough time so that you can get to the opposite site of the room
6) repeat.

Makes sense? No? good. : )
