In three weeks (July 20th, to be exact), I'll be flying out to San Diego to get set up for Comic-Con, which runs from the 24-27th. RubberNinja has been keeping a list of all the NG folks who will be attending Comic-Con, as well as the Anime Expo in LA and Supanova in Perth, Australia.

For the next 20 days, my goal is to post once a day with some snippets of NG-relevant news. For example, we just renewed our bandwidth contract and are now paying considerably less per month than we have in the past! It's crazy to think that at one point, our bandwidth bill was over $20,000 per month - and that was back when we were just scraping by to survive.

To celebrate our initial savings, I'll be giving out $100 per day for the next 20 days! We have a raffle script that we run once a month to pick a monthly winner from users who deposited their daily points. Every day you have the opportunity to vote on five submissions and deposit your points, and each daily deposit counts as one entry in the raffle. If you vote every day, you are entered in the raffle 28-31 times per month. Only for the next 20 days, I'll be running this script on a daily basis, and only for the previous day. So if you deposited your points yesterday, you were included in today's raffle.

Our first daily winner is Pokelord-EX! So $100 is going to Pokelord-EX and tomorrow someone else will win $100.

I've been putting together a list of news and plugs that I need to make, so I'll be posting something each day. If I miss a day, I can still run the script for the day I missed, so everyone will still get their shot at the daily prize. If you want a chance to win $100, all you need to do is log in and vote on five submissions, at which point your points will automatically be deposited and you will be included in the raffle. Please WATCH the submissions and vote fairly, though. :)

This has actually given me some much needed motivation to start depositing again. I'll be doing it for the next twenty days, and will no doubt continue after that since I'll have gotten back into the habbit. Woop!

I can't believe it. Money for going on Newgrounds? Hahaha! The actual chances of any one of us winning a raffle is slim. Nonetheless, it's nice to know. Great.

You can only make one deposit per day, so that is just one entry per day, no matter how many submissions you vote on.

Oh... well that's what I was going to say (but avoided), about users using tons of accounts to try to scrape up some cash... well cool, as long as you guys check to make sure people aren't cheating, we should be alright ;D
