I was a huge fan of the original AQ and paid (one-time!) for it until they added that Z-token bullshit in and released much superior games like DragonFable and that Mech one, which were almost identical to each other. A shame, really.

Congrats! Can you upload that list somewhere? Once you get into Allegiance and surpass its insane learning curve at over 2 hours long tutorial, it's actually a great game, so your friend is certainly a very wise man!
Can anyone guess this awesome game? One of my favourites, played it to death. Flippin' great times... and the multiplayer (split-screen only, as it were back in the day) made the console it was developed for a must- buy in my opinion.

Unfortunately, on that forum people took the piss out of him massively, so in the end he cracked, cleared out the entire games board and cut off contact with just about all of us... :/ I remember him recommending Alien Arena - which, despite being a bit generic, I absolutely loved. Probably due to the similarities to Quake (it being based on an iD engine).

Although it may be a shitty image, God damn if it wasn't one of the best games on the SNES.
Hint: It has the greatest music of any SNES game ever. In fact, it has some of the best video game music of all time, easily beating almost all modern game music.
