The US saw some of the worst hyperinfaltion, oil shocks, and major movements in the 1970s. There was a rise of the black community, a unisex movement, and a rise of gay rights. This forced the government to put the Public Affairs act of 1975 into play.

I find it highly irrelevant today. So how many of you favor the PA act of 1975, how many oppose, and how many of you honestly don't know what the PA act is?

Two words, one name: George Bishop

EndGame :p

If you have a -10% chance of succeeding, not only will you fail every time you make an attempt, you will also fail 1 in 10 times that you don't even try.

Yeah I was trying to mimic that survey for class, I thought I could get some opinionated people, but it seems research and rational people got to this thread first.

Kudos NG, kudos.

The Public Affairs Act of 1975 does not actually exist, at least not as a policy. This was a faux policy created by a research team to measure how much of the public would provide their opinion on something they know little about. About 50% of the sample provided a view on this. This exercise helps illustrate why polls can be flawed and risky and should be used with caution.

Was that when Gerald Ford was in office?
