Maybe so. But the best way to get replies is to only review while the submission is under judgement. I've 58 reviews and 26 responses. I almost always just review when the entry I wish to review is under judgement.

Don't forget about the MLB playoffs. Red Sox have a fairly good chance to make the World Series with that game 1 win over the Yankees... Sadly, can't say quite the same for the Marlins anymore, I don't think.

heh! Come on now. 90% of the players on the Red Sox are superstitious as hell, but that doesn't mean you have to be as well. #;-}>

Anyway, I'm just so torn. I definitely want the Red Sox in there (although the Yankees haven't won since before 9/11, so it would be kinda nice for NY if they did... but then again, I'd rather the METS won the World Series #;-}>)... but I'm torn on the Cubs/Marlins. I hate the Cubs as an Astros fan who wanted to see MY team get into the playoffs, but... they've suffered even longer than the Red Sox have, so... gotta feel SOME pity for them. Then again, the Astros have never even BEEN to the World Series, and back between 1895 and 1920, the Red Sox and the Cubs RULED the World Series, so... bleh... better 100 years ago than NEVER, IMO.

But anyway, the Marlins, while a young team, and already having won in 97... are just such a charismatic team this year. I was really pulling for them as soon as they took the wildcard, I didn't hold a grudge even though if they'd lost to Philly a few times the Astros might have had a better chance for the wildcard themselves.

And when they were beating up on the Giants... that was just a sight to see. I hope they at least take it to game 7 with the Cubs, even if they don't make it through to the WS.
