Quotes in posts

I have a question about putting quotes in posts, or making fake quotes...

Say, for instance Johnny and I are having a discussion, and he addresses a number of topics and I wish to address them singularly

Example:

Quote from Johnny about topic A

My response to topic A

Quote from Johnny about topic B

My response to topic B

and so on and so forth. I searched but didn't see it, so if you find a thread addressing this, that would help as well.

are oyu asking how to use quotes?
just use the " : " and then leave a space

I think this is what you asked for. I'm not entirley sure what you're on a bout though. :/
BTW when ever you see a faint one of these "|" it replaced one of these ":" with a space after it at the beginning of a sentence.
