I've just started looking into this thread, and of the games on your list I've really only played Crimson and Viridian Room, which by the way have a creepy atmosphere. I'm more into room escapes with some more noticable reason to escape, like Intruder obviously is. Any other suggestions? Thanks :D

Mostly all those on the list have that atmosphere.
Try The Doors on that list on page #1.
Just finished it, and that was a good choice O.o. The monster noises that play if you go to an object, open a door etc. are just freaky. Was fun tho!
