This name has been my alias for about 10 years or so...
I started using it when i was playing table top Dungeons & Dragons. The full name is Elios Vengarth Greyja. I use "Elios" for pretty much anything. Codename, Halo, Newgrounds, WoW, NWN1 & 2. I tried looking it up in a bunch of foreign dictionaries, didn't find anything specific.
I think a memorable name is part of the success, the other part is not making an asshole out of yourself, then people will remember by "That asshole guy nobody likes"

You have to be able to condense a username to four or five characters for it to be memorable. Whether an acronym like HAYF, or otherwise.
Short, ambiguous usernames garner attention because of their rarity.

I'm sure our username is simple and easy to remember.
Doesn't neccessarily have to be a cool one, just as long as it is memorable.
If you have something like tommy32456, then no one is hardly going to remember you.
If you want to make your username more memorable, then I find that using capital letters helps. Instead of doing "somestupidguy" do "SomeStupidGuy". Even better, do "Some-Stupid-Guy".
Avoid numbers, they aren't needed.
These rules help me remember names better, I'm sure you'll have your own that you follow.
