I'm not really into Hip Hop myself but this album just blew me away, definitely recommended.
I sadly can't tell if I am getting trolled with that album any more. I have listened to some tracks and I didn't find any of it impressive, let alone worthy of a second listen.
Anybody like Christmas music? I usually hate it but I found some chiptune versions of songs, so I'm giving them a try.

I do my best to hang on with all the Christmas music that I hear all the time when it's this time of the year. One Christmas song I do like is Savatage's Christmas rendition. His side project Trans-Siberian Orchestra has a lot of Christmas metal songs so I'll need to give that band a listen to sometime.

Got it 2 days ago, personally I prefer Pandora's recommendation engine, but the 40 hours per month thing is starting to be a pain since I always have music in the background.
Only 100 plays so far, time to change that.

Statwhore reasons primarily I guess, but I think a lot of people like to see their listening trends and it's pretty neat to be able to see what you listen to. It's also a cool way to find new artists through other people and the recommendations.

Only 712 plays though, so I imagine it will only go up.

iTunes and the "Scrobbl" background app for the iPhone to scrobble the iPod "over the air"

A couple of torrent trackers I'm on, I'll just go to the top 10 downloads that day and grab anything that looks interesting. Other than that, last.fm recommendations, drownedinsound's spotify playlists, pitchfork (lol) reviews, etc.
At 12/4/10 10:10 AM, Jon wrote: Only 712 plays though, so I imagine it will only go up.
Yeah, and the reason I only have 712 plays is because I've gone through so many different computers. I've only had this computer since late October. Also, when I listen to songs they aren't adding to my play count. It shows me listening to them, but when the song's finished it doesn't add to my recently listened to list or the play count.
