Same here!
I'm not sure, but I think my first one was either
Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 3 for GBC.
Or, Pokemon Yellow.
Pokemon red.
Bastards were sold out of Blue the first day.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I'm 19 years old, but the first ever video game I played was Pong. Yes, the original one. My grandpa got one around the time it first came out.
I believe we still have it in our house somewhere. It's missing a piece which could easily be fixed.
My first one was an old classic which I'm sure many of you will remember...
Commander Keen... The whole series.
I completed it down to the last detail, even getting into the pyramid of Forbidden... Which in turn turned out to be a near-impossible level to rescue a janitor.
Just imagine I wrote something witty and funny here....
Oh, and check out my artwork: http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic /802110
Crash bandicoot..... Yes my mum too thought games were evil to younger children. So i had to owned that before getting onto owning better ones...
my first game ever owned if i can even remember is most likely some sonic game on my sega megadrive. If not sonic most likely metroid2.
"Get better headshot, bra."

I didn't have a "first game", since my first games were the ones I got from my brother, when he gave me his NES
including those games were: Duck hunt/Super Mario, Super Mario Bros. 3, Shatterhand and... forgot the rest
however, the first game I got was Medievil for Playstation.. such a great game
MY first game. I think I was 8 or 9 and I got a Game Boy for my birthday and Kirby's Dream Land. I still love that game. But before that My family had a SEGA master system with games like Sonic 1, Rainbow Islands, Alex Kidd (rock paper scissors ftw!). Oh, and Batman! There were quite a few others but I can't remember I was so young, but those games were so awesome. After that we played the SEGA mega drive at my grandmother's house (back in the day!) with games like Sonic 1 and 2 and sonic and knuckles and sonic spinball. And bubsy and I think, Jurassic Park... anyways, it was all old skool gaming for me. Then we sold the Master system and the mega drive. I think I've still got all my game boy games and game boy.
And they're all classics.

Sorry for double post, but GOD YES, those games were fun! I think I only had a couple of the parts in the series, but they were epic games, seriously. So weird, but totally awesome fun.
