does anyone know where i can find a good free pop-up killer.. these pop-ups are really pissing me off.. as i was closing them, one somehow closed itself and i accidentally closed magic:online.. while i was in a tournament! oh well.. thanx

Yea i was checkin out a few things to increase your cache size and completely delete somethings that may stay on your computer - was there any firewall protection in there i wonder...
well, www.download.com and search the word "pop up" and youll find tons of them.
At: I would imagine a lot, depending on what you want, but I've never bothered to go through it all, and I've only been recommended to POW!, although I'm sure there are lots of other helpful things there.

Heh, I'm using AdsGone Pop-up killer, Everythime sompin pops up, It INSTANTLY closes it and adds it to a Black list, so I only see a popup once for about a half second, then never have to worry about it again.
I've dealt with pop up killers like these , if you click on a link that auto-opens up a new window to display something , said window is auto-closed unless ctrl is held while the link is clicked , which equals crap...
I remmeber there was a prototype pop up stopper on http://www.downloads.com , which would store the tag-line of the pop up window , and also the dimensions of the window , this made for a perfect black listing program . I think it was an earlier version for another pop up stopper which was released before the final product had a price beaten into it. Anyone know anything about this pop up stopper , i mean POW! is great , but the recording of the dimensions make the killing all the sweeter....
