You all know me as Zhacross but the thread is named "Cornmans's art thread".
"What's up with that?" you might wonder. Well I like "CornMan" a lot more than "Zhacross" but some punk had already taken my name. Who wants to be called CornMan anyway...
besides me then.

Ok, now you all know that "CornMan" is what I prefer, so let's get to the topic.
This is my personal art thread and I will update it with new (and some old) pictures from time to time. Remember that comments are always appreciated.
Let's begin this thread with a hand drawn beast from the deepest of oceans.

CornMan is back with a new pic now. It dose look a bit better on the paper because my scanner did a mediocre job with it, but I hope it will do. Manga influenced this time.

I really like the fish. What is his real size ?

and don't use a scanner ... I tried with my drawing and realised that a digital camera was much better

He´s bigger then Kraken for god´s sake. ;)
I have no digital camera. :(
But you know I did scan the fish too, I think the other picture looked messy because it was drawn on such a big paper that I had to scan it in two parts and then paste them together in PS.
I guess a small ray of light slipped into the scanner and made the picture that bright.

My inspiration? I don´t think I have been influenced by something specific. The ideas are just popping up in my head when I sit down to draw something. As for the shadows, I usually leave them to the time when I´m going to color the piece.

Wow! That is so awsome i love it, the style is supurb :) The way its coloured in adds to the style, with the washed out colours it makes it look really cool, good job on that. The proportions are good too and overall its great. I really like the idea of it and you made it look awsome. Cant wait to see more of your artwork, keep it up :D.
