Who could forget either? They were simpler times, they were better times.

I loved it, it wasn't too technical for newbies but it wasn't stupid and didn't exclude real gamers. And Charlie Brookers satire comedy always adds to that type of show. I hope they make more.
Today I programmed pong into my calculator. Life is good.

G1 for Flash first ;)
Needed workaround right there, though.
MoFunZone stealing traffic from ArmorGames?
Now according to many dictionaries, "armor" is spelled as both "armor" and "armour" (the latter being more used by the british). And a number of people know it as armour.
MoFunZone has gotten the domain www.armourgames.com which redirects to their site. That way, they're stealing a lot of traffic from armor games. That is one sneaky underhanded trick.
Anyone saw this before?

I was just about to post a similar link. Good news, for me at least.
About the AG/MoFunZone thing. It's been that way for quite a while I think. Kind of unprofessional if you ask me.

Yeah, I knew about it. Apparently it's been a sore spot for Armor Games for a while and Mo refuses to give it up.
I think it's a bit shady to steal mis-directed traffic instead of building up your site legitimately.
I wonder why Armor Games didn't think of buying that name variation when they started.
There were similar instances like that here with a nationwide office supply chain. At one point Staples had bought every conceivable misspelling of Office Depot and redirected it straight to their primary domain.
Funny stuff. Kind of shocked Armour was powerless to do anything about that though. It happens. What's worse than squatters, is when someone with a nearly identical name, runs a horrible business. We field about 20 calls a month from angry customers, reading us the riot act about our shitty hosting. Our company does not offer hosting. They are in Florida, and we are in Oregon. I can't wait for the Better Business Bureau to shut them down. :)

Legally armorgames could get that domain by force with the courts if they think it's worth it.
mo is a slime ball though.

It highlights the dissonance between moral business practices and effective business practices. Maybe it stops a few quality developers from going to him, but I guess the misdirected traffic pushes the balance for him. Plus he likely only cares about money, not image. A site run by one person can only go so far these days with kongregate destroying the quality flash game market, and I guess on the other side of the spectrum addictinggames destroying the cheap game market. It seems less and less profitable to be an independently owned game site with big names taking over.

Time tends to clear out people like him. Unfortunately, or fortunately, it's tough to go through life being a total douche and still find success.

What'd everyone think of the hour long program at how to loose £5,000 on a roulette wheel? I just laughed for like 5 minutes straight :D Quite a few conspiracy theories going round, but I don't believe them.

If he was right people would just say it was faked in some way, anyway. It wouldn't be a massive surprise if it was on purpose to make it more believable, although it didn't really have that effect.

I caught the last 10 minutes of it, where he's set up in the van. What happened before?
I was laughing at the poor bloke who lost 5k (granted, he was going to get it back).

I'll treat that like sarcasm...
Plenty of examples recently of immoral people getting their come-uppance: Bernie Madolf, Enron, Balloon mortgages, John Edwards, Blagojevich, Mark Sanford, to name a few.
Not to say that cheaters NEVER prosper, but from my experience and observations, any successes they achieve are fleeting in the LONG run.

I still don't get why the French are so outraged by him being arrested. He's a wanted man because he raped some 13 year old girl. What's your problem France?
