yes im thinking if i should buy for gamecube or rent and if i like it buy it because you see my friend rented for xbox and said that its not funny,fun he said its sucks so i need your advise people of newgrounds and i have number one for gba. PS2 aint that good for it, I prefer for it to be Xbox360.

As much as I loved Lego Star Wars... save your money. I don't expect the second one to be much different from the first, and the novelty may have already worn off by the time you pick up the second one.

I haven't actually played the game, but I would try renting it first to see if you like it. If you do then go ahead and buy it. If you don't then buy some other game.

You should buy it... Most of the reviews for the game have been positive. I played a couple of days ago and its better than the first (by far) so I would definitely pick it up. If you have your doubts, then just rent it first and see if you like it.

I haven't played the first myself, but a friend of mine told me the second is a lot better than the first and even makes the first look like complete garbage. I rented the second one yesterday and it's loads of fun. I wouldn't buy it, but it's definetely worth a rent.

i have the first one, and i plan to get the second one. the gameplay is very fun, but lego dubs it down with their crappy childish humor in the cut scenes. and if they did it in the first lego star wars, then they will surely do it in this one. also, i want to buy it to rip peoples arms off with chewwie!
I rented it for the 360. I found it enjoyable and rather fun especially when you are playing it two player with your best mate.
The downside to it though is that it is rather short. I played it for 10 hours and managed to complete it over 60%.
Definetly worth a £5 rental though.
Im not going to buy the game because it's to similar to the 1st.
it's just a clone really. the only exception is the custom charecters and the melle attack (like leah happy slapping enemies to death or chewbaca ripping arms off)

If you have Lego Star Wars 1 in your memory card, you can import your characters into your Lego Star Wars 2 game.
It's a helluva lot easier if you do that.
But it's fun in the first place, so that's another reason to buy it. :)

I have the sequel on PSP and it's worth the buy.
There are far more unlockables. I've beaten the story and I only have 44% of the game complete.
