i know i probably sound very very stupid...but i truley need your help... i was JUST informed and givena sheet that was over due for school, and important math homework... i cant do i wasn't in school and i dont get it... my friend doesn't know either and i dont have my book i need this done soon i already did the problems i know.. i really really need help.

1.Cynthia s 6 times as old as Rebecca. In years, Cynthia will be only 3 times as old as Rebecca. How old is Rebecca now?

2.Marcia counts the $5 bills and $10 bills in her cash register drawer. She counts a total of 35 bills with a total value of $240. If x= the number of $5 bills in the drawer?

3.In a re election, Perez got 5,512 more votes than 1/3 of the leading candidates's votes. Together the two candidates recieved 18,072 votes . how many people voted for Perez?

4.A baseball pitcher's earned run average (E) is a function of the number of earned ruuns (r) iven up and innings pitched (i) . The function is written:
E=9r/i What is the earned run average of a pitcher who gives up 8 runs in 18 innings?

x+y=35
5x+10y=240
solve similtaneouly
y=13
x=22

therefore 22 $5 bills.

c = 6r
c+ 6 =3(r+6)
c + 6 = 3r + 18
c-3r = 12
c - 6r = 0
3r = 12
r= 4

rebecca is 4 years of age.
