Office Update

Things are progressing with the office. Tim the NG Sys-Admin has been getting things rolling with our internet and phone systems. This morning we had DSL installed, which is being used exclusively for the phones. We're using Vonage VOIP phones so that everyone can get their own direct line for just $13 a month.

I've tried using Vonage twice in the past with Comcast Cable Internet and it never worked properly. It has always worked fine with DSL, though. I have a theory Comcast sabotages Vonage because they plan to unveil their own VOIP phone service.

In addition to the DSL line, we are relying on Comcast for our regular internet because it's faster. It's been taking a while for them to come set it up.

I made some small front page tweeks tonight and added a little Flash banner by Stamper. Maybe we'll throw some chickens in there for all you oldskool NG fans who miss them!

Finally... Here's a teaser pic from the office. It's shelves full of vinyl figurines and books.

I'm in the process of buying the building - settlement is Nov. 17th. I still haven't finalized the loan with the bank. Yay! Massive debt!

He can. The limits for admin front page picture posting aren't as high as they are in the forums, though, so as not to break up the front page with images that are too large.

I got first once, but I was banned for it cause all I said was "Awesome'. I was told to make a better post and comment about the news. "Awesome" is not an appropriate response. But boy was it worth it.
