yeah, I meant PM gfoxcook. I little mus-up there.
I haven't gotten one of the PMs, so I wouldn't know. Hence, I really was asking to make sure that e-mails weren't being sent now in addition to or instead of the PMs for some reason. Just wanted to make sure I'd heard correctly, not really trying to correct you there. #;-}>
I'e gotten 4 total, and I actually wouldn't consider most of them abusive.I don't say "it sucks" or it's crap" or anything in them, but they're deleted anyway. How do you write a constructive review if the flash is just text?
Abusive = a catch-all term for rule-breaking reviews. If you read all the review guidelines/rules, you'll notice that not all of the rules cover actual abusiveness, but the abusive button is there to cover all such rule-breakery. Perhaps a better text label could be placed on that button, but "abusive" is the traditional title for flagging a review that breaks rules, so... that's the way it is.
If a flash is total shit, just text, whatever, then you're certainly free to say so.
Just spend more effort writing your review than the author spent making the flash, and you're pretty much guaranteed your review won't be found "abusive" or deleted.
Oh, and no talking to or about other reviewers in your review. That's something that trips up a lot of otherwise-good reviewers. The temptation to do that. It's also against the rules. Review the flash. Not the author, not the other reviewers, not the score that voters have given the movie. Just review the movie/game.

But there was nothing it HAD TO have been improved on. I mean, come on, it's 'B'! Besides, tehre are lots of worse review out there.
Write more about it. That's all you need to do, and your review would have been fine.
Review guidelines.
I've read them before.
But apparently not closely enough. I just reread them yesterday, and I'm a review mod. It never hurts to review old material, man. It's called a refresher course, and everyone in the world stands to have one now and again, especially on stuff they've gone rusty on.

Fine, fine, forget it. I redid the review... it's just that I find that some of the MODs ar delteing reviews if they find that they like the movie, and the person that revieiwed it din;t, or something like that. Anyway, just forget about it.
Just lost my temper there. :D
'sno problem.
And don't worry, mods don't delete reviews if they like a movie and the reviewer didn't... or they hate a movie and the reviewer loved it.
That's not our job, and trust me, we don't give a shit what people think about the movies they're reviewing, and whether they agree or disagree with our personal beliefs. We moderate reviewers and reviews based on rule-breaking. And that's it.
Review moderation is so much more objective and remains objective much easier than BBS modding ever has or does or will.
