Actually I think Fight Club is one of the few occasions the movie's better than the book. Don't get me wrong Chuck P. (too lazy to look up the spelling) is a great writer, but the movie is just plain genius.

There are a number of things I have to say:
1) don't glorify yourself. Nothing is more unbecoming than vanity.
2) If you did have your own little club, you wouldn't be such a dick about it, because from the unity thereof comes a bond you would respect too much to do so.
3) Don't publicize it if it's true. Especially not on NG, where no one will believe you, let alone give you the attention you so obviously crave.
4) Your lack of poise is a huge telling point that you are blatantly lying.
