Ok, ive never created an audio piece, and would love to know how to do it?

ok i have now tried the fruity loops, and find it weird, i have used a programme called logic that was on my schools computers, only they are macs, it has a mode called matrix mode, and with this you can click on a note and drag them (they look like small rectangles) across and make a song. Their is also real cool effects and stuff you can do aswell as drums and stuff, is their any other programme out their that ahs this feature?

Logic 7 is for Mac only. As NDP mentioned, FLS is a good user friendly program. I would suggest starting on that or Reason 3.0. The hardware/software is only one of the first stepping stones though. Good luck with your project.
i got a program called toureg 2 its a very simple and basic program.
