I wouldn't say ruined. GoW is still a good game to play online, the ranked matches just suck.

Halo 2 was completely ruined by stand-byers, mods, and bridgers. Three terrible exploits you can't avoid when playing anything ranked.

Seince the update i have yet to be cheated.

I need help with Xbox Live.
It says the IP address isn't working.
I eventually found my LAC, and I discovered my IP, Subnet Mask and some others that were blank.
It still said it didn't work.
My friend told me to set it ti automatic, but that didn't work.
And when I tried to set it manually, I was missing a gateway addtess.

Is there any other way to get it to work automatically?
Where can I get a gateway addreass.

To find your default gateway do this on your PC.

Control Panel/Network Connections

Choose the one that connects you to the internet (if there are more than one disable them after each other and see when your internet stops working)

Right click, properties.
Click the properties button at the bottom of the window

Click Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) and then the Properties button.

It's there, 2nd or 3rd down.

If your using wireless networking it can be a bittch try to unlock it first (ie- zero security) connect up (should be easy from there), when the pc konws the 360 is connected allow it to connect everytime and you should be able to put your security back on.

Gears of War,
Dead Rising,
Crack Down,
Project Gotham Racing (I had no choice, it was in the bundle pack)
Oblivion,
Kamieo,
Ninty-Nine Nights (N3)
and no Xbox live
So far Ive been going on what my friends say but I have a very different opinion of what a good game is (not Fifa 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 etc).

I have been eying up Condemed, Def jam Icon, Lost planet and Chrome hounds. Any advice would be welcome (aside from shut your face noob).

Sorry it took me so long to reply (work, pub etc). I have completed the top 3, started Kameo and N3, Oblivion is a monster of a game and regarding the PGR thing realistic racers arnt my thing, I dont enjoy F1 games, Need for Speed and that kind of thing but I'm totally into F-Zero X, Wipe out and S.C.A.R.S. You know, the more imaginative racers. It is a good game PGR but I just dont enjoy playing it.

Oblivion alone is a hundred hours of gameplay at least I reckon to properly do the main quest, side quests, guilds, and explore it.

113 hours for me doing all the Guilds and Main Storyline. Oblivion is a great RPG game, I'm going to download Shivering Isles after I beat some other games. I'm going through GRAW on hard mode right now. I was playing until my 360 froze on me again. Second time in two days, is that bad?

But I have done most of what you said, insane on Gow, almost got driving up to 4 star (last one), Oblivion is a on and of thing so im not that far in and I do mostly side quests anyway (only just became the hero of Kovatch)

The main reason I asked about what games too get was for future reference for when I do get one. Also Fable 2? never heard of the sequel but I loved the romp arounds on my mates copys of the first one.

P.S. Im so going to get Command and Conquer on the 360 when it's released

First thing i want to say, as a member, is that the Xbox 360 Elite is coming out. This is, simply, a black xbox 360!!

I don't know about you, but i am really, really excited about this. I think the retro Xbox colour's will look great on the 360, the next-gen console.

If you already have a 360, don't buy the Elite. You can buy the 120 GB hard drive seperately and transfer all your data from the old hard drive.

Meh. Download the demo if you're unsure, but quite frankly, I'm relatively* certain that I'd never buy an RTS on a gamepad, because the mouse is just so useful.
