Sure, why not.. I'll drive a car... not even a couple hours drive away.... but it doesn't matter anyways, because us over here on the west coast are even more jealous, cuz we can get to e3 easily! but we cant get in!!!! You ever heard the term "so close.. but yet so far"..
I have been trying to go forever.. and its sad that as a student trying to gain a degree in video game programming, i still cant go.. But alas, good news... People in california who work at EB Games (at least I have heard) can go to e3! Well i know where im getting a job next!
I'm sorry to hear about the building, but it sounded kinda dumpy in the first place. It just wasn't the right time I suppose, but NG definitely deserves a real office!
did you try sliding the inspectors a couple of frree copy's of Alien Hominid???
sorry you cant get the building, it wouldve really been cool to have newgrounds not come out of a basement..
have you considered buying gas masks?? just a thought...
your REAAAALLY lucky on going to E3.. next gen systems.. all those games... damn you lucky..( im to young to go :( )
is there a chance for any games to be mentioned soon at E3? or will we have to wait till comic-con(I CANT WAIT!!! PICO!!! SYNJ GAME!!! OMFG IM GETTING A HEART ATTACK THINKING ABOUT IT)

Damnit! They won't allow regular people into E3...... Unless you can get me in!

: I have some bad news about the Newgrounds office I was going to buy: It isn't happening. There were some hazardous materials that needed to be removed prior to settlement, but they wanted to sell it as-is. The clean-up costs would have been expensive at the least and potentially VERY expensive, so I wasn't interested in inheriting the risk. It's a real bummer after all the emotional energy and excitement I built up over the prospect of working in a real NG office and not my basement.
Damnit! I was really hoping for you to get a new office, but theres always more buildings out there. I hope you can find another, NG could use a nice big comfy space. San Diego is a awsome city, I've been there once (October 2004) i bought a liter of ginger ale for 89 cents at walgreens, it was good, but it was warm and we didn't have ice :(. well, I just had to share that useless story, and I hope you get a new office. Peace out.
lol hazardous matieral, maybe it was radioactive and would have morphed you into super tom, and maybe i need to stop drinking
Lol, hazardous wastes in the area? Where the heck is this office, underneath a nuclear power plant?

Yeah, it sucks that you find a good office then you learn it's full of asbestos. I hope you guys have luck finding an office elsewhere. Oh, and when are you releasing the monthly awards?
That sucks abotu the office, I wanted an office space. :(
if you feel like moving, theres a building not in use and going through some issues right now next door to my house!
basically my former neighbor is an idiot when it comes to business management.

Sorry to hear about the building problems. What type of materials did they want to sell with it? I'm sure you'll find an even better one down the road and be glad that you didn't go for this current building.
Dang , I was really looking forward to the office, better luck next time. Good luck with the speech at E3.
I am a new terror born in death, a new superstition entering the unassailable fortress of forever. I am legend.
dude... that sucks about the building but now you know about buyer beware and never trust a home that's being sold "as is".
just like that old movie "Money House" (i believe that's the title).

It's a damn shame about the new office, hope you find something soon.
I am hoping the same thing too.

Why do the gaming gods forsake me and prevent me from attending E3? Why satan Why?
Beware my vengence if you have a good time.....
Good luck on E3, you and the behemot team are a model example on how to do it your own way.
And sorry about the office. I really hope you land a new one. And hey, now the other company gets their parking space.
I don't take revenue from my profile.

I'm fairly sure that Tom mentioned that the building contained asbestos in one of the other office threads. Their tearing down and rebuilding my school and when they were starting demolition they found a whole bunch :/ So I've been going to a school with asbestos in it for the past 3 years.
Anyway, it really sucks that those people wouldn't take care of it themselves Tom. I hope that you can find somewhere else for the office. Now gimme pictures from E3 soon >:(
