I thought it was real nice outside so I thought it would be good to give my dogs some excersize so I decided to throw the ball for them. Well I have one miniture poodle and one toy poodle. My toy poodle is smaller then my miniture poodle but he is very agressive when it comes to the game fetch. Well anyway I threw the ball and both my dogs went running for it and my miniture poodle got it and my toy poodle attacked my miniture poodle. In response my miniture poodle went to defend itself and I think it bit my toy poodle really hard. Well I think my toy poodle's leg might be spranned or twisted or broken or something. He was laying on the ground and he can only take a few steps and then falls down. He's breating hard and seems like he's in a lot of pain. My parents don't get home until like 2ish. I tried comforting him with water and have him lay down. He doesn't seem to be bleeding but i'm really really worried. How can I tell its broke? :'(

If he can put any weight on it at all, then it probably isn't broken. If he can't, then it may well be, or possibly dislocated
I doubt the other dog's bite was enough to break your dog's leg. But if the animal is clearly in a lot of pain, all I can suggest is take it to a vet as soon as you can.

get yerself a Labrador, Alsation, or any breed of hound next time...

Just try to keep him calm until the 'rents get home, and then get him to the vet ASAP.

At least call your parents. Maybe they can tell you to go to the vet or something or they will go home immediatly. I don't think it's broken, the bite probably wasn't that hard. Maybe a friendly neighbour can help?
He's calmed down a bit now and I put him up on his feet and he's actually walking a little bit but it still looks like it hurts.

I know, it's not rocket science. Or even call the vet and they might be able to give you some help to see if it's broken and what to do for the dog.

I would like the mods have said take it to the vet no matter what, its not like its ur fault or anything, ur parents will understand.
