To all you flash artist out there, i need a bit of help. I am soon to get a new computer that is capable of handling the huge file size of flash. I've noticed in some flash movies that the detail is extremely high. This goes for some sprite movies also. I'm looking for a program that would be the best to create pictures on, and for sprite movies, i need to have backrounds put up and not have a sprite clicked and draged in a "box". What would be the best program to do this on and are there any specific tools i need to make good to fantastic flash art? I just have microsoft paint, and it sucks for flash movies.

If you are a student you can get Photoshop for a lot cheaper from an educational website:

Or you could buy Jasc Paint Shop Pro, which is quite similar to Photoshop but is cheaper at under $130.

But it depends on the type of artwork you want to do. If you have a more cartoonish sort of style it would be more practical to get Adobe Illustrator or another vector based program.

Don't get anything from ibackups though, they basically charge you $50 for a demo version that runs out after 30 days if you don't have the serial number.
