You'll get better, try not to whack yourself in the head too many times before you get the tricks right though! :P
I do juggling. At the moment I'm learning 3, 4 and 5 balls. I've got about 50 catches doing 5 ball cascade, but I usually only get between 10 and 30.
I don't like juggling 4, so i'm ot really that good at it. I can do the basic patterns alright and I'm learning 4 ball mills mess, but I can't juggle very fluently with 4. Stupid even numbers!
With 3, I feel like I'm progressing really well. I think I'm good enough to pull off a profesisional looking 3 ball routine now. I drop a lot less than I used to and know some quite advanced patterns.
I don't do much with clubs or rings. I can only do a 3 ball cascade and a half shower with clubs, and similarly with rings, excspt I can do a 4 ring fountain.
Anyway, so thats where I'm, at. lets talk about juggling.
Oh yeah, I use 62mm dx chroma balls, which I love! they're quite hard, and once you drop them they go rolling far, but I'd never go back to normal squishy balls (until I can afford gballz).
Hey
yeah this is is a cool club
i learnt to juggle over the summer hols
i can do about 20 throws and catches
im not very good
oh yeah i only use 3 balls
am trying to learn 4 balls any tips

Don't try and learn 4 balls until you've mastered a few 3 ball tricks. Use this site to learn new tricks. I wouldn't start learning them until you've mastered the 3 ball cascade though. It may take a while, but I would probably say the 3 ball cascade is probably the hardest trick to learn because you're totally unfamiliar with keeping the rhythm and throwing each ball the same.
Wait until you can juggle 3 balls continuously until you start with the other tricks, and wait until you're good at a few tricks before you try 4. You don't want to be the kind f juggler who can juggle 10 balls but can't do a 3 balls mills mess to save his life.
When you do come onto learning 4 balls, you may not actually pick up 4 balls for a week or 2. Start by learning to juggle 2 balls in your strong hand, then your weak hand, and then after you've got those solid, try a 4 ball fountain.
But the main thing is, don't try to rush and although theres no harm in trying out tricks which are beyond you, make sure you learn all/most of the less impressive tricks first. At the start it may feel like you're learning slow, but when you start to get good, you start to learn more advanced tricks quicker.
Don't give up!

You will take that back once you try to do 5 balls. 3 balls oyu can learn in a day or two, 5 balls was last summer, and it WAS my summer.

Well, in addition to that, if you try to rush numbers, you won't be able to get them mastered unless you have a strong base with the numbers below. There was a guy who could keep 5 ball cascade going for 120 catches no problem, and when he went to seven balls, he got 20 catches within the first half hour. so solid base with the lower numbers = a good thing.
Oh, and YAY FOR NEW MEMBERS! Maybe we can get some activity on this thread!

Yeah, i'm learning 5 balls now. I admit it is a lot harder than learning 3, but my point still remains that once you know 3 ball cascade, it will be easier to learn tricks.

yay.
Lets start a discussion:
How well do you need to be able to juggle a pattern before you can say you can do it? A lot of people say that once you've qualified the pattern, you can juggle it, however I can qualify 5 ball cascade pretty much ever time, but wouldn't say i can properly juggle 5 balls, because i can rarely get more than about 30 catches.
I personally wouldn't say I can juggle a pattern until I can juggle it until I get bored.
man ive only progressed to mastering the 3 club cascade.... I need more free time

I will make it sized better and stuff. If you want send me a message or something
maybe the sig should have more to do with juggling. It just look a bit random at the moment.
yea your right. How about 3 multi colored balls in the background?

I'd say that you haven't mastered it unless you can qualify with perfect, even, symmetrical throws, but that is just my opinion. If you can get like 120 catches, it will make it a heck of a lot easier to start the next number though.
I've pretty much mastered 4 ball juggling. Now i need to buy some new clubs and work on it.
