I challenge you to a duel! You just... Couldn't leave me alone, could you? I must have heard Vertigo a thousand times in the last week, and switching stations doesn't help. They're all... INFECTED.

I've had to retreat to my stash of mp3-age. You... Ruined the radio! Forever! This cannot be tollerated!

...

Pistols at dawn, punks.

What are you talking about? Vertigo is a perfectly fine song. That lead singer can really carry a tune.

Of course, they're completely owned by some good ol' AC/DC or some Guns and Roses.

Yeah, but this is the radio we're talking about, so only like 20 percent of the stuff they play is listenable. Still, it could be worse...they could start playing nothing but Switchfoot and Hoobastank like MTV has been doing for the past couple of months...

ya..u may all just hate my music taste but there have been songs (not ones i loved) but ones i cant tolerate (e.g. the reason, hey ya) but they got so overplayed it couldnt listen to them.....im sure the same efect can be cast onto a much better song. On a slightly different note i like the song vertigo and havent heard it too much

One thing that I've noticed about these forums is that you can say all you like about how much you hate a band/singer/composer and there will always be tons of folks that agree with you but the moment you bring up a band you like, you've got twenty people bashing your taste in music.

I've always enjoyed a little Classic Music too. Beethoven is always a good way to relax and kill a little time.

Bono would give your tonsils such a raping, you'd be pulling them out your ears when he's finished.

Don't mess with U2.

Bono is like 5'4, he's a midget who could be crushed like a child.

Man U2 have gotten really lazy. Their new album sounded pretty much like their last 3 albums.

Truth be told, none of his band members are too much taller than him either, you could probably take them all at once and only wind up with some scratches and a broken Bono (zing!).

I think he wrote some disco songs back in the 70s...

I agree wholeheartedly. Its like a mind controlling fungus. The song is seriously starting to piss me off now.

Response to Bring it on, U2! Nov 29, 2004

Someone please kill U2. That new song is total shit and it's everywhere. Bono and his dumb little buddies are so many years past vaguely relevant it just isn't funny anymore. Can you imagine being a man in his 50's who calls himself "The Edge"? And could somebody PLEASE teach Bono to fucking count in Spanish?

Don't these sorry bitches have enough money to retire and leave us alone for good?

News Flash,

The numbers 4-12 really don't matter at all in the spanish numerical system. They only come into play when you're counting how many tacos you have left on your plate. Otherwise they = trash.

Good luck to u2 i say. If a band can be around for 25 years and still be popular and get number ones it must surely be a good thing.

Response to Bring it on, U2! Nov 29, 2004

The guys got a point. U2 was on iPod commercials....for the last 3 weeks. Their music video is on all the time. They did a couple of free concerts ( Not that it's a bad thing ).

They're just trying really hard to get their CD sold . My friend bought it and said that Vertigo is the only good song so maybe that's why their trying so hard.

Response to Bring it on, U2! Nov 29, 2004

I'm getting sick of that song. It sounds like they are trying to be rock and keeping up with the times. Worse are the celebrity mags who review music to make it look like they aren't vapid celeb obbessed idiots who gave the song the top rating, just because it was U2 who recorded the song.

I would dwarf Bono and his band of old men. Hehe. I actually like U2 though, but I agree their song is over played. Also what language are they speaking? If it's Spanish it sounds like they count "1, 2, 3, 14"

It should be "Uno, Dos, Trece, Quatro" or whatever.

He must be listening to a different album to me, then, since Vertigo is one of, if not the, weakest songs on the album.

mna u complain about U2 on the radio, if u want to compain about songs being played over and over and over and over and over, then u should be compaining about rap

Ye gods, my early morning rant has attracted a few Ng legends! *praise*

Anyways, I didn't have anything against the song, or U2 really. Before they attacked my ear-holes like angry badgers...

I hate that song, they have recycled loads from the vines 'get free'
Cheap bastards.
