What music/musicians that you like wouldn't have you discovered if it weren't for Newgrounds?

Recently, I have discovered Alaska Sargent, an amazing artist that has just uploaded their debut album "OVER MY DEAD BODY" which most of its songs combine rock + hyperpop and they sound FUCKING INSANE. It's no jokes one of the best things I have had the pleasure of hearing this last year, and I can't stop playing the songs all over and over again. I didn't even think I would like this genre THAT much.

Of course, it was thanks to Newgrounds that I discovered her, so it made me think:

How many people have discovered amazing artists thanks to Newgrounds?

So here I am making a post to answer that question!

I just discovered Alaska Sargent a few days ago, it was some crazy cool stuff! Not like anything I’ve ever heard before.

I’ve found a lot of cool artists here… when this was my primary platform for listening to music, I found people like Creo, Exyl, and nstryder.

But more recently, I was introduced to tvroom and have really fell in love with his music… there’s such an emotional depth to that hyperpop sound. I typically don’t listen to hyperpop, mostly bc i had never heard of it before then. But I love tvroom!

@preds and @wilidacious are two musicians with amazing talent! And have inspired me for over 1-2 years! I discovered Newgrounds through @Waterflame, and eventually found Preds by looking through waterflames favorites, I used to think he was some cheap copycat but I soon began to realize he’s just inspired. I can’t really remember how I found Wilidacious, but ever since I did, me and him have made many collabs, our best being
