Hypothetically, one could make a simple clicker game that is just this sequence repeated ad nauseam:

press button to get booster pack (could have randomized sentences like "Just one more..." on it)
press button to open booster pack (maybe with a fancy animation)
flip through the randomized cards it contained one by one
cards get added to some kind of album that the player can look at
NG achievements for completing certain percentages of the album
give the cards themselves a nice Newgrounds design and add characters like Pico as super-rare legendaries..

Granted, this would require many many more cards of varying rarity levels to be worth it.
