0 days without another pop'n music mention from me.
the games are unhinged. the charts are absolutely insane (just look up any EX chart) and i love all of the characters
Currently playing: Pokemon Black, Shadow the Hedgehog, Ace Attorney 3
I seriously think I’m the only person here who knows about this game.
It has such a cool and unique style, playing as a little mushroom guy in a huge environment is really cool and everything’s so stylised. But the best thing about it is it’s absolute banger OST that shouldn’t be this hidden from the world (seriously, listen to this).
Also hilarious (and kind of sad) that it says “best game for the Wii since Mario Galaxy, a franchise is born!” up the top there on the game cover. This series only has two proper games and nobody knows about them lol.
Lichtspeer. Das game is sehr goofy.
Basically, this is what happens when two Polish guys grow up during the collapse of the Soviet Union and watch German dubs of 80s movies that are trickling in from the west, which they only half understand because of the language barrier. Those Polish dudes made this game as an homage to their unique childhood. So it’s full of dated fashion choices, nonsensical world building, and cheesy fake German. It’s also really hard, but it’s too absurd for me to be mad at when I die. How can you say “I was killed by a skater walrus” with a straight face?
Someone please help me revive my clubs
Guess this could be called niche
Mappy. As a young autist, I think I was 7 or 6, it was a really big hyperfixation and it was ALL I ever talked about. Literal brainrot lmao.
It got so bad my mom threw out my plug n play cuz she thought it was making me "zombie-like", but it's still a fun game and I love it to this day.

The OST at least isn't quite so hidden, because a lot (all?) of it was done by Les Claypool, and a number of tracks were part of the Fungi and Foe album.

A gaming niche is among the best niches for bloggers. It focuses on gaming news, new releases, console reviews, product reviews, and more.
Lately, Fear and Hunger!!
I have a friend who's been getting me into a whole new genre of games I haven't really explored much before, and I think it's becoming my favorite type. Fear and Hunger, Slay the Princess, and some others have all been really cool in a way I can't really describe
I'd say Knytt Stories is pretty niche.
i'm not sure if this counts as niche or not but the game is a ton of fun and I rarely see people talk about it
Maybe Timberman VS and other games part of the Timberman series. Timberman VS and Timber Tennis Versus are both fun games in multiplayer. I even accidentally 100% completed Timberman VS. Can't say much about Timberman's Big Adventure but it looks like a fun simple platformer that I'm planning to play.
I recently got into independently developed horror games like Exit 8 and Alternate Watch.
I used Game Maker back in the day, and browsed some fine creations from other creators. Good memories. One of my favorites may be @Banov 's Dubloon, a pirate RPG. Nowadays he's known for Chicory and Wandersong.
Other favorites include legendary full-length total conversion Half-Life B-movie horror mod, They Hunger, and any of Mat Dickie's work, including Hard Time, The You Testament, and Reach. He is STILL making games and publishing them on Steam and the Switch. Talk about prolific.
with hearthstone they arent as niche anymore but i like game versions of tcg.
pokemon tcg rocks
I podcast, make documentaries, cartoons, games and art. I also hate lawns. Love weasels. Am neutral on Snow Cones. I feel nothing about snow cones. Sometimes they are nice.
Always will and forever be this funky franchise!
I have not heard of anyone talk about this game once it came out, it's good stuff.
Gameplay is like 2D Zelda, story gives Earthbound/Mario & Luigi vibes, plus the soundtrack is fantastic. There's also a minigame inside it called Earth Born which plays out similar to classic Dragon Quest.
Plus it just got a DLC that contains another whole new game about as long as the base game.

I really wanna get into De Blob one day. I played the DS game last year and had a friend in my childhood who owned De Blob DS. The DS game was a lot more fun than I expected so I really wanna give the HD Switch ports of De Blob 1 and 2 a go.
King Tutti on the old Sky TV box. I doubt anyone has been able to play this since 2007 or whenever it shut down :P
These two, from the same publisher:

hehe FUNGER is such a silly game
Had to think on this one for a couple days.recalling all the games I've playing over the last six years, this stuck out as one I plan to revisit soon
Definitely something like dead cells, the best indie game in my opinion

Syndicate 1993
top down isometric dystopian shooter
Like doom ?
Don't forget to brush your hands and wash your teeth!
No, like a multi directional top down shooter. Not first person
I would say Projet Blari
A small indi game made in the style of a ps1 game. (On Steam)
I've 100% it, but I'll definitly return to Speedrun it, to prolonge it!
Knights of Honor
I can highly recommend using the Ultimate Edition Mod -
