Finals? Already?
Yup! Exactly 40 people were accepted into this Final Round from the infamously selective Knock-out Round. Only the top 25% of scorers within each group (rounded to the nearest whole number by group membership, and then rounded up for ties) avoided getting Knocked Out! And speaking of knocking out, the walls segmenting the 4 groups have been demolished. Everyone is against everyone else as we decide who makes the top 3 in the next few weeks. >:D
And how will you decide the top 3?
The remaining competitors have until Saturday, September 16th at 11:59 pm EDT (yes, 2 whole extra days compared to last round!) to submit a completely new and original track to this thread. That means you couldn’t have started working on your track until right now, as per the rules. Otherwise, all of the rules that applied to the last round regarding samples, timing, and originality also apply for this round.
I hear the NGUAC has a billion-dollar sponsorship deal with Adidas. Is that true?
What? No. The NGUAC isn’t sponsored, and no one involved gets paid for their efforts, unfortunately. But if you ask nicely, the judges, including @ADR3-N, @Benji-G, @Lordant, @Midimachine, @NahuPyrope, @NoStereo, @Possibly, @TeraVex, @Tritnew, @Uxvellda, @VociferousMusic, and myself, would be happy to discuss how they scored your piece via PM.
