Personally I love soundgoodizer, I use it in every project. But I've heard a few people saying they don't like it.
What are your thoughts?

Soundgoodizer helps me in like 70% of cases when it comes to making the sound better, so I can't really say anything bad about it.
Sometimes i use it, sometimes i dont
its all about if it sounds good at the end of the day

I find that Xfer OTT helps me make sounds nicer with more control rather than just a single knob.

I agree.

Yeah, I find sometimes if you already have a bunch of effects it doesn't really do anything.

I can understand that, sometimes I use OTT instead of Soundgoodizer.

I've heard that too, I just find it easier to open a plugin and turn a knob instead of opening a preset or whatever.
I'm much more of a Maximus user myself, but hey, I'm not gonna knock Soundgoodizer because people do neat things with it 👍🏽

Soundgooder is good for beefing up sounds. I prefer it over ott imo, dont know how people use that without making sounds ear piercingly sharp. I also use firepresser and maximus sometimes depending on what im doing
i love what it does with chords with a low percentage applied. i've recently got the idea to use the soundgoodizer presets in maximus to utilize linear phase mode and see how that works out, recently i've been trying to dive head first into managing phase issues which is why i havent been making anything.
Its like every other plugin, where the way you use it is what matters the most. I personally love using it on low percentage for drums to give them extra kick.

Once I even added a tiny bit to the master.

Generally you should keep it so the listener can't notice and it just sounds cool.
I don't use it because what it does is too over the top for me.
I don't use it too often. I prefer Maximus when I want to have more control of the bands, since that's where the soundgoodizer presets comes from and you can see what they do.
People probably don't like it because it messes up the phase (much like OTT) of any sounds you process with, so it's something you normally don't want to put on the master or a mix bus. For me it comes handy when some of my basses feel dull in the lows, turning the knob about 20-40%, but it depends on many other cases...
Love the soundgoodizer, I find it's best with a light touch though (provided you have other effects already in place), usually around 5-10% is my limit, anything else and it makes the sound too wide in the mix imo
Soundgoodizer is very good for making progressive house, in my opinion it is a good plugin
I personally think soundgoodizer is ass. There are people who use it and still make the song sound good but you're better off with other plugins lol
A dumbass
SOUNDGOODIZER GOT THAT GOODIE FR FR, I USE IT IN MY MASTER TRACK IN FULL WET. Thats why its soundgoodizer because it makes everthing GOOD, cant sing? slap it in your master and vocals channel and you be like adele in just seconds, bad melody? slap it an watch it turn into awardwinning loop, serum innit preset? slap it and it'll become color bass!!!!!!!!!! Must have plugin.
But jokes aside, Soundgoodizer can be a good plugin, just need to use it correctly. But OTT is better for me atleast.
