Ween is the greatest thing to come out of Pennsylvania second only to Philly cheesteaks. Like holy shiz every album of theirs is fucking amazing (especially Quebec cuz it’s just 👌), and the way every song barely clings on to one specific genre is just awesome. And Gener, I could rave all day about his voice like omg his range is incredible, like I’ve barely seen any other singer hit such high notes in a song like Freedom of ‘76 and then a few songs later just completely change into this baritone like voice in Voodoo Lady all in the same album. Deaner’s also a fucking master at guitar, like that fucking solo in Transdermal Celebration feels like an out of body experience cuz it’s so beautiful. Jesus I sound like such a fanboy lol

Hell yes I do!! From The Pod, Laura is hella brown but still a bop and a half. I love the way how it feels like an acid trip on Quaaludes lol. From God Ween Satan, Bumblebee is funny as hell (especially pt. 2). Never had too many favorites off Pure Guava, but Push The Lil' Daises is a perfect example of a brown song. That Alvin and the chimpunks ass falsetto combined with that poppy and cheery guitar, wrapped together with some weird ass lyrics (atleast to me ig) makes it soooo brown

Got into them somewhat recently and I fucking love them! Favorite album's a toss up between The Mollusk, White Pepper or 12 Golden Country Greats. My favorite song of theirs is probably Piss Up a Rope, I gotta sing along to it every time it comes up on my music queue.

Saw them live in 2015 one of my favorite bands as a teenager. Would be cool to see them again. Theyre super uniquely weirdly boyish and multi genre in strange niches like lofi hard/alt rock and jam band at thr same time. The quebec demos and love at the cats cradle 92 album are stellar. Z rock hawaii is really far out and fun but weird and non traditionally produced

piss up a rope is a classic you should listen to pure guava its a pretty great ween album is you like some of there browner music and its got Don't Get 2 Close (2 My Fantasy)
