I go almost every weekend
A large popcorn and 2 drinks is 31 dollars.
And both my theaters don't even sell the buckets anymore, the large popcorn comes in a smaller bag now rather than a tub lol
and the large drink size is smaller as well. The cup doesn't even sit right in the cupholders anymore bc they made the cups smaller
Def not worth it.
I like going to the movies after comitting a crime. It keeps me hidden from the police. :P~
I’d be spending at the movies with my daddy’s money, with snacks from the gas station, or hell, I could watch movies on the tv uncensored.
Not the mario movie. And I'm pretty lookin forward to that. Think its going to be the only time I'm going to theater. In Years
And the last time I did was for the new men in black 2 movie.

It's the only place you can watch new movies in 3D anymore.
So far VR isn't mainstream enough yet.
A truly prophetic sig...
I got Regal Unlimited, which is $23 per month, and I see any number of movies per month.
Tickets are normally $14 each.
So, if I see just 2 movies per month, I'm really paying less overall. So I try to see 3 or more movies to save even more money.
You pay for the experience of high quality video and audio in a relatively soundproof dark room.

Sometimes the cinema has some really good seats. The type of seats that are so good you think you're paraplegic the second you stand up after the movie is over.
I don't know anyone with a screen that size in their home with that kind of sound setup.

Because I don't have a 100 ft screen at home
two days ago I went to see 65 at the cinema with daddy
it started 15 minutes earlier than advertised and it was dubbed instead of captions
but is was fine
I work at a drive in movie theater
(Yes they still exist)
It's a nice vibe to go there and it's a experience like no other movie experience.
Yeah you can watch it at home but where's the fun in that?
Love you guys <3
because i don't have a movie theater at home
idk because some people like the immersion of movie theaters???

watching the movie at home doesn't quite feel the same way...
I sometimes watch a movie and wonder how other moviegoers would be reacting to the scenes if we were in a movie theater room. it's sometimes fun to hear the comments somebody a couple seats away makes. not to mention my friends and I default to going to the movies when we want an excuse to hang out. much more convenient than meeting at somebody's place and we can do other stuff later (most of the theaters we know are inside or very close to shopping malls, so we can also hang out there after the movie)
also, the popcorn.

Same people: a concert you've been talking about for 6 months? I can't, I have to work. Also that's like $25 I can't afford
Movie theaters are just chair rentals. BuT iTs aBoUt tHe ExPeRiEnCe aNd AtMoSpHeRe. And so is getting laid, virgins.
And I fucking hate popcorn, the kernel skin gets in my teeth and I'm spitting out pieces for days. Stay home and make some jiffy pop. You only think theatre popcorn is so great because they pour restaurant liquid pan butter on it.
