Hey congrats to those recognized, and amazing work to all who participated! Was cool naturally running into "Pixel Day" art not only on NG but across the web that day.


Actually, it was interesting to see how different sites engaged with my submission on different levels:

Though I wasn't surprised that sites like Twitter had essentially 0 reach for me, Tumblr was largely the only site where the audience/niche I was speaking to actually found the post.

But, as usual, Newgrounds was the only place that was lively, positive, and made me feel like I was a part of an actual community, for real <3


I hope all you participants will be back with another submission next year! I'm super behind on my projects after working nearly a month straight on the submission, but I have good faith that the burnout will be gone in time for 2024 ;)
